Because it’s made from living trees that lock in carbon for the life of the product, the carbon footprint of SANCTUARY Homes is much lower. Our plants use low-energy manufacturing processes that generate virtually zero waste. We are carbon-neutral and divert about 277,000 tons of paper from landfills each year. With a plant in each region of the country, our supply chain is designed for short-haul transportation. This keeps the deliveries and shipping within a 500-mile radius of each plant and unnecessary carbon out of the air. Because our insulation is fully recovered and reused on-site, there is no excess material to send to landfills. Innovations in the blow-in process allow oversprayed material to be vacuumed up and blown back in or salvaged for a future installation.
