QWEB is a nonprofit association that develops markets in the Americas and abroad for Québec’s wood products, ensures access to these products in different markets, and promotes the use of wood. Organized in five groups: Softwood, Hardwood, Flooring, Wood Pellets, and Wood Construction, the 125+ members are wood producers with products and systems at an export-ready scale from shops in Quebec. Disclosures for members of the wood construction group are included below.

In addition to the construction group members listed above, some of the other QWEB manufacturing sectors have participated in the development of one or more of the industry-average EPDs for Quebec’s wood products. Some have also produced product-specific EPDs and material health disclosures. We invite you learn about them and specify their products with transparency documentation.

All members can produce custom solutions to a global buyer’s plan, with factory capacities that include mass timber, gluelam, panelized/engineered components, and volumetric prefabrication. The source of timber is from the world’s largest certified sustainable forest resource, with rotational management, less than 1% annual harvest levels, and mandatory replanting.
